The aim of this work is the description of the Middle Triassic calcareous-dolomitic sequence of the Sedimentary Cover of the Argenterà Massif (French Maritimes Alps) in its south-eastern region. Three lithostratigraphic units have been distinguished: Lower Calcareous Unit, Dolomitic Unit, Upper Calcareous Unit. These have been interpreted, from the paleoenvironmental point of view, respectively as: restricted platform deposits, evaporitic platform deposits, lagoonal deposits. The Lower Calcareous Unit and the Dolomitic Unit have been attributed to a range of time spanning from Anisic to Ladinic.
