Scapolite occurs as large idiomorphic crystals forming pseudoradiating aggregates in veins in the monzonitic rocks. It is associated with zeolites (analcime, natrolite and scolecite), calcite, ferroan chlorites, K-feldspar, sphene and apatite. The samples were examined by x-ray diffraction and I.R. absorption spectroscopy. The results define the mineral as a $Me_{36}$ scapolite term, containing $C0_{3}$ and OH as essential constituents, Cl and $S0_{4}$ as trace. The relationships between physical data and composition are quite satisfactory.
