Si dimostra un criterio sufficiente per la non prolungabilità delle soluzioni dell'equazione $x^{(n)} + a(t)f(x) = 0$ nelle ipotesi $a(t) <0$, $xf(x) > 0$. Per $n = 3$ il criterio è parzialmente invertibile.
