In organotypic culture the association has been realized between vascular area pieces of 5, 6, 7 days chick embryos, with embryonic liver fragments of 12, 13, 14 days chick embryos also. The electrophoretic analysis of the haemolyzates of the three explant types has shown that there are no valid differences between the haemoglobins present in expiants, with and without liver, and those present in the controls of the same age. That would demonstrate that if the vascular area is erithropoietically active after the fourth day of incubation, the haemoglobin formed is of the definitive type.
