The orbital elements of the eclipsing single line system $\lambda$ Tauri, HD 25204, have been redetermined by us, using 16 grating spectra (dispersion 35 Å/mm) secured at the Observatory of Merate during 1966 and 1967. In spite of the numerous studies of this star, Koch, Sobieski, Wood (1963) pointed out the usefulness of a new radial velocities study. No evidence has been found by us for the period of the third body; the residuals computed are all very small, i.e, of the order, or less, of the probable error of each plate (± 2.5 km/sec).
