Sunto

The effects of nicotine on avoidance conditioning of albino guinea-pigs have been assessed by using an automated shuttle-box apparatus. The interaction between drug and sex of the animals was also studied. The results of a 2X2 factorial experiment show that nicotine significantly enhances avoidance performance regardless of the sex of the subjects.
