The differential cross-section $d\sigma / dt$ for elastic p-p scattering has been measured, with the nuclear emulsion technique, for incoming protons of 10 GeV/c. A target of polyethylene was used. The p-p reaction was obtained after subtraction of the measured evaporation spectrum from Carbon. The data refer to values of a transferred quadrimomentum 3·10-3 < t < 5x10-2(Gev/c)2. From the analysis of the experimental data we have obtained for the ratio between the real and the imaginary parts of the nuclear scattering amplitude the value $\rho = -0.30 \pm 0.05$.
