On the grounds of the recent studies of the Russian geologists concerning the tectonics of the Pamir, as well as of the data collected by the Author during his expeditions to the Karakorum, Hindu Kush and neighbouring areas, the three above-mentioned mountainous regions of Central Asia are divided in some tectonic zones. The tectonic relations between the three regions are also examined. This work is concluded by a glance on the tectogenesis of Central Asia.
